Grady J. Flattmann is a lifelong resident of the Northshore who began practicing law in 2005 and started his own law firm in 2009. His practice is focused on protecting the rights of injured individuals and families throughout Louisiana (including Covington, Mandeville, Slidell, Franklinton, Bogalusa, Hammond, New Orleans, and Metairie). He also represents clients in cases involving maritime injuries, car accidents, and bad faith insurance disputes.

In his practice, Mr. Flattmann emphasizes clear communication and a personal approach to put our clients at ease. Being injured—and in some cases unable to work—is stressful enough. Mr. Flattmann advocates on behalf of his clients for the compensation they may deserve from insurance providers while allowing them to focus on their recovery.

Mr. Flattmann earned his law degree from Tulane University Law School and received his undergraduate degree from Millsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi. He is also a graduate of St. Paul’s High School in Covington, Louisiana.

During Law School, Mr. Flattmann clerked for Chief Justice Pascal Calogero, Jr. at the Louisiana Supreme Court.  He then worked as an associate attorney in private practice until 2009 when he founded Grady J. Flattmann, Attorneys at Law, LLC, a Covington, Louisiana law firm focused 100% on personal injury claims and litigation.

Mr. Flattmann has appeared Pro Hac Vice in a number of cases throughout the United States, including in Virginia and Mississippi.  Attorney Flattmann is a member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Louisiana Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Covington Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in Louisiana, including Louisiana State Courts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana.
