Why You Need A Covington Personal Injury Lawyer for Your Personal Injury Claim
When you have been injured in an accident, you are not required to hire an attorney in order to be compensated by the liable party. However, having an experienced personal injury attorney by your side will give you the following advantages:
- You will be free to focus on your physical and emotional recovery as he negotiates with the insurance company.
- An attorney will know how to determine the full value of your claim, including potential future medical costs and non-economic damages such as pain and suffering.
- Insurance companies know they can’t push an attorney around and are less likely to waste your time with low-ball offers.
- If the insurance company refuses to offer a fair settlement, your attorney will take them to court and present evidence on your behalf.
- You won’t pay your Covington personal injury lawyer unless he collects for you!
If you were injured in a car accident, slip and fall, maritime accident, or any other accident, contact Flattmann law for a free consultation. Mr. Flattmann will be honest about whether he can help you in your claim. After all, he is your Northshore neighbor! Schedule an appointment in our conveniently located Covington office.
Our Personal Injury Practice Areas
Car Accidents
A car wreck can have devastating, life-altering effects. In a flash, everything can change. Not only do car accidents result in serious injuries or death, but they also can leave a family struggling to cope with the uncertainties of life afterward. That’s where we come in. We handle car accident cases from start to finish.
Motorcycle Accidents
In Louisiana, approximately 1,200 people are injured or killed in motorcycle accidents every year. Motorcycle drivers have more of a chance of being killed in a crash than do occupants of an automobile. Because motorcyclists are highly exposed, it is important to take extra precautions when operating a motorcycle.
Truck Accidents
Due to their size and weight, big truck accidents can result in catastrophic injuries, including death and life-threatening injuries.
Pedestrian & Bicycle Accidents
Nearly every day in Louisiana someone is hurt or killed in a pedestrian or bicycle versus automobile accident. In a wreck with a car or truck, pedestrians and bicyclists do not stand a chance. Unfortunately, with the addition of increasingly popular walking and bike paths, these incidents are becoming more and more frequent.
Personal Injury Accidents
Insurance companies often don’t take injured victims seriously. At Flattmann Law, our personal injury lawyer knows how to protect your rights and pursue your claims. We will pursue your rights in the least stressful and most cost-effective way possible for you. The best part is, you don’t pay us until and unless we receive compensation for you from the at-fault party or their insurance company.
Maritime & Jones Act Accidents and Injuries
Maritime work is abundant in our area, but that doesn’t mean every personal injury attorney is prepared to adequately prepare and argue your case. If you or a loved one is injured in a man overboard, onboard explosion or fire, fall, or electrical shock accident on a vessel or oil rig, you need experienced representation to ensure you get the benefits you are entitled to under maritime law or Jones Act case law.
Wrongful Death
After the death of a loved one, you and your family need time and privacy to process your grief and figure out how to move forward. When Attorney Flattmann takes your wrongful death claim, you can be sure he will hold the liable party responsible and fight to get you the compensation you need—and that your loved one would want you to have—to move on with your life.
